The TGI Tech Program is an initiative of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta. The program goal is to spur interest in science, technology, engineering, arts/design, and math and other STEAM-related fields by middle school and high school girls who live in under-resourced communities.

Since TGI Tech’s inception in 2006, ACS Group has provided mentors and tutors, computers, and more than $120,000 in academic scholarships. In addition to classroom study, participants also attend interactive field trips to meet astronauts at Camp Kennedy Space Center and the Delta Air Lines flight simulator. Hundreds of girls have graduated from TGI Tech and gained critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. The hope is that the program will spur graduates to pursue career paths in STEAM-related fields.
