Participate in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as requirements gathering, modelling, analyzing, designing, developing, and testing. Design and develop various modules of the application with Java/J2EE design architecture, using Spring MVC framework, and deploy the Spring components on Web Logic. Develop User Interfaces using JSP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script. Develop Micro Services using Spring Rest, Spring Boot and MVC.

Work in Agile TDD environment using SDLC tools like GIT, Jira, Jenkins, and Maven to build packaging and deployments of the application components. Participate in fixing the code based on the priority of the issue in production. Work on Production Support cycle to handle escalations, identifying and resolving tickets within SLA. Use Spring Security for authentication and authorization of the application. Write Hibernate queries to automate the mapping between Oracle database and objects in Java using Hibernate ORM framework as persistence engine. Participate in writing SQL and stored procedures for handling complex queries with the help of TOAD and access them through Java programs from Oracle database. Work on setting up Maven scripts to build, package, and deploy application code to the target Web Logic Application Servers and work on continuous integration servers like Jenkins. Focus on Test Driven Development by creating detailed JUnit tests for every single piece of functionality before writing the functionality. Monitor the metrics/system performance of applications on day-to-day basis to avoid the failure of application and impact that would cause to business. Participate in daily standup calls and meeting with clients to deliver appropriate code to the end user. Work with Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, JSP, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS and SQL.
